Market Activity for May 16-22, 2011

Last week in Lake Oswego 21 new listings came onto the market, 19 houses became pending sales, and 15 sales closed. I always look for an interesting bit of information as I put together these reports. What stood out this week was the fact that of the 15 closed sales, 8 sold in less than 30 days, of which 2 sold in less than a week. So there are signs of life in this real estate market. A house that is well priced and in the right condition will sell quickly.
